Ed Cushnie – President - ed@snips.ca

As owner of Snips Landscape & Nursery since 1979, Ed has built the company to include many loyal and long-lasting customers. He has a degree in Agriculture from the University of Guelph, is a certified Horticulturist/Landscaper/Greenskeeper and is also certified in Landscape Stone Masonry and Hard Landscaping. His proven work ethic combined with his strong landscaping background will guarantee that each project will be completed with quality craftsmanship and finesse.

Kristi Montovani – General Manager / Landscape Designer - kristi@snips.ca

Kristi is a graduate of Niagara College in both the Arts and Design Fundamentals and Landscape Technician programs. Her passion for the industry of horticulture and her vast experience to draw on will make her an excellent designer for any project. Her interest and experience in the landscaping field has opened more opportunities; green roofing industry where she has become a certified green roof installer. Kristi has worked closely with several schools to implement their greening programs and has also given informative workshops on the subject.

Alena Dawson – Green Roof Specialist / Estimator - alena@snips.ca

With postgraduate certification in Ecosystem Restoration from Niagara College, Alena can provide the Snips team with extensive knowledge of ecological principles and ensure each landscaping plan will benefit the surrounding environment. With extensive volunteer experience with ecological projects all over the Niagara Region, she is very passionate about environmental education and conservation. She is currently working to spread awareness on the green roof movement and ways to make our region more sustainable.
